Haymand's Blood - Chapter 6
Kairas, who was taken aback and retreated unknowingly, felt his self-esteem damaged. Wasn’t it like a game of a cat chasing a mouse continuously?
Furious, he grabbed Serenity’s wrist again, which’d slipped out of his hand. He tugged it roughly and pressed her body against the wall. Both wrists were pinned together so that she couldn’t escape.
Once he made sure she couldn’t escape, his silver eyes cooled down. Lowering his head, he whispered into her ear with a threatening voice.
“This is my palace. I’m the owner. Who said that you could do whatever you wanted?”
He was going to give her a sharp warning. To not come out of nowhere and cause trouble, and to not act her way without Kairas’ permission. But once he blinked and reopened his eyes, things changed.
“Hey. I like this position better than the one before.”
Kairas looked at her as if he could not believe what Serenity said as she spoke softly.
He had her trapped between his arms a while ago, but now it was the other way. Of course, it was hard to say that she trapped him in her arms because her height was just slightly over his shoulders, but his wrists were held by her hands and pinned to the wall, just as he had done.
‘Am I dreaming?’
He was staring blankly at such a ridiculous situation, and came to his senses when he felt the cold touch of the wall on his arms and back. He pulled on her arm to get out, but her hand was like a restraint on the wall.
Suddenly, his pride crumbled and shame poured all over his face. He, the Emperor of the Greatest Empire, was being ridiculed by a plain girl.
“…Get out of the way right now.”
As he gritted his teeth, a low growl escaped his mouth. His deep silvery eyes glistened beyond anger.
“Oh my… Are you angry? Then I guess I should anger you more.”
“What kind of…!”
Kaira, who was about to tell her to stop talking bullshit and get out of the way again, suddenly felt his body stiffen. When his wrists were loosened, a fragrant smell from the woman suddenly came close to his body and her soft lips fell on his neck.
He clenched his teeth again. But this time, it was not out of anger. He didn’t want to fall for those sweet lips moving over his neck.
Ignoring his body’s reaction, which has begun to heat up, he hastily tried to push her away. But he couldn’t do that. Her hands, which came down to his abs, gently wrapped around him as he began to get angry.
“Will you stay still for a moment, kid? You’ll feel much better.”
“I don’t need it…uck…!”
Kairas, who held onto her arms to push her away, lost strength and let his hot breath flow from his lips. Serenity’s hands were skillfully pinning down the grown man.
It was strange. His body, who was supposed to be rejecting and pushing the cheeky girl away immediately, began to welcome her lips and touches.
Kairas felt confused. He didn’t have a lot of experience with women, but he wasn’t oblivious either. When he ascended to the throne, the nobles pressured their daughters into becoming his concubines. They said it was to be like a pledge of their allegiance, but in reality their purpose was elsewhere. It was to make their daughter empress or to plant his seeds in their womb hoping to give birth to a child who will have a chance to become the next emperor.
The concubines looked rather mediocre in his eyes, as he knew what the nobles were up to. A year later, when he did not visit any concubines, complaints began to come from not only the concubines but also the nobles.
At first, he ignored it, but as time went by, he became too lazy to even bother them buzzing like bees. He had told Lloyd to help him out, even though it wasn’t his cup of tea to sleep with a woman whom he had no feelings for. However, he was also a man who craved lust from time to time.
At that time, Lloyd had slept with the concubines. Kairas thought it would be killing two birds with one stone because it could quell the complaints of the aristocrats as well as relieving the lust of the concubines.
However, after sleeping with the concubines a few times, Lloyd stopped visiting them. No problem arose with them, but Lloyd found it distasteful to sleep with women he didn’t even know just for pleasure.
That was two years ago.
‘It’s been so long since I’ve slept with a woman…’
Her lips, which moved down from his neck, fell over his shirt and over his collarbone. When he felt her moist tongue through the thin fabric, Kairas clenched his teeth as a shiver went down his spine. The hand that had tried to push her arm away was slowly losing its strength against his will.
Her actions deepened and accelerated. Only Kairas’ suppressed groans occasionally sounded down the quiet corridors. The sight of Kairas, whose back had been trembling, became flushed as soon as his sanity cracked. He let out a groan he couldn’t hold back anymore and let his desires out.
“Hm hm~~ What a good kid.”
Kairas, who was breathing heavily with his face buried in Serenity’s shoulder, felt his lower part harden.
The thick liquid oozing onto her arm between her slim, white fingers was a mass of desire that Kairas had just released. What was surprising was that they disappeared as if they were absorbed through her skin.
“What do you say, kid? Are you feeling better now?
Her hands that were touching his face were incredibly smooth and soft. He couldn’t even imagine that it was the same hand that had helped him release his desire. Just like they had been washed clean and rubbed with scented oils.
Shame immediately poured in as the lingering pleasure disappeared. He could not raise his head anymore if it was known by anyone else that the Emperor had released due to the hands of some woman just like a boy who first reached puberty.
“…get out of my way!”
Kairas roughly pushd Serenity, who has gently stepped back and smiled languidly.
“Oh my, I guess you didn’t like it very much. Did you prefer me doing it with my mouth rather than my hands?”
Kairas couldn’t even speak as he was speechless. However, when Serenity’s pale pink lips caught his eye, he unwittingly imagined it. The way she would look up at him with her gleaming red eyes, taking in his manhood with those small, plump lips.
He uttered a curse under his breath. Since she had appeared, the lower half of his body had been acting up like a dog in a rut, ignoring his owner’s words. He was surprised by how skilled her hand movements were a while ago.
Kairas, whose pride was hurt, recalled the lines of the most boring book to calm down his excited manhood. No more being swayed by her.
Fortunately, his excitement quickly subsided as his efforts had paid off. He breathed a sigh of relief but suddenly heard Serenity’s voice in his ear.
“Hey, do you remember that today is the last day? If you don’t sleep with me tonight, the palace grounds will be stained with blood tomorrow morning. You can’t bear to lose your precious people since they’ll be useful to you. Think carefully…”
It was a gentle but eerie warning. She was openly saying that she would exterminate the knights if he didn’t comply with her demand. Kairas’ beautiful face, which had been staring at her blankly for a moment, became horribly distorted.
“…What? Who said…!”
Kairas reached out and tried to grab Serenity, but a strange smile appeared on the corner of her lips before his hand touched her. In a split second, she disappeared. Only her voice remained in his ears.
“You’re a really picky kid. Come and see me when you’ve calmed down. Let’s meet tonight.”
The hallway of the palace became silent again. All that remained was Kairas, who couldn’t even vent out his anger anymore.
The glass was heavily placed onto the table.
“That stupid girl.”
Kairas murmured softly, wiping the alcohol away from the corner of his lips using the back of his hands. Upon seeing his friend like this, Lloyd clucked his tongue and filled up the glass with liquor again.
“What’s the matter with you? You said it yourself, she’s the one who played a huge role in the conquest war, so you can just sleep with her or whatever and use her for the war. Just like your ancestors did.”
“Shut up, one more word and I’ll throw this glass at you.”
Kairas, angry at Lloyd for saying that, picked up his glass again and gulped it down.
He knew it too. As Lloyd said, if he does as she pleases, everything can go smoothly. But he didn’t know why his pride was so hurt.
Lloyd shook his head when he saw Kairas slam the empty glass down onto the table again.
“You’re so happy that you’re freaking out. Isn’t that right, Hyad? If it were you, wouldn’t you also sleep with h… er.”
Lloyd, who looked at Hyad, realized that he had made a slip of the tongue and hurriedly shut up. His friend’s face and body, which he woke up to after two days, were covered in mottled bruises like they were autumn leaves slapped onto his skin. No matter how pretty she was, Hyad wouldn’t want a woman who made him like that.
“…I’d like to decline. Since I was beaten so harshly.”
As Lloyd expected, Hyad, with his handsome face slightly bitter, raised a glass to his lips. When he thought about that day, he would still get chills down his spine and cold sweat. How did she control her movements that well with such a heavy sword? It was the kind of experience in which Hyad never wanted to go through a second time.
“Then, Asil, what about you? Why do you think Kai is angry like that…”
When he failed to get the response he wanted from Hyad, Lloyd hurriedly looked towards Asilde before he stopped talking and sighed.
“No, what’s the point of even asking. My mouth is sore.”
Asilde had never interacted with a woman back then. Kairas had visited the concubines, but did not see Asilde approaching them, let alone sleeping with them. There was no answer from him.
Asilde, who took a sip of the liquor quietly, turned to Kairas. His mouth slowly opened, even though he usually didn’t talk much.
“…I think I can sleep with her if she wants me to.”
“If she wants you to…? What did you say just now? Hey, did you guys hear that?”
Lloyd looked at Kairas and Hyad in excitement based on Asilde’s answer, which was completely unexpected. However, only a glass of wine flew across the room.
Lloyd’s head moved quickly to the side. The glass, which zipped by its target by a narrow margin, fell to the floor and broke. Fortunately, the glass only made a light sound against the carpet, but Lloyd, who realized that Kairas was very uncomfortable, closed his mouth.
“You’re talking nonstop.”
His silver eyes shone as his face was twisted. Lloyd was confident that if Kairas had a sword in his hand, he would’ve swung it at him right away.
“This guy ruined my drink. Drink by yourselves.”
Kairas rose from his seat, glaring at Lloyd. Then Hyad, who was watching him quietly , opened his mouth.
